Emma is Head of Learning, Teaching and Assessment at Birmingham Newman University. She has over 15 years' experience in Higher Education and has led a range of curriculum developments at Newman. Her particular interests include inclusive education, assessment and supporting students through key transitions.
Emma is pleased to join the Students’ Union Trustee Board and to have the opportunity to support the Union in its work for Newman students. She is particularly interested in ensuring that students’ experiences inform decision-making, and looks forward to working with fellow trustees and the Students’ Union team as the Union continues to develop.
