Introduction

The following page is an introduction to the Research Participant Network. The Research Participant Network is a place where you're able to branch out of your course and find what sort of research other people are doing. 

In addition to this, you can choose to get involved with all this amazing research by volunteering as a participant. In essence this service will allow you to break out of your bubble of students to find other likeminded students who will be able to help each other with getting participants for their respective research. You may also be given an incentive by the researcher to take part.

How it works:

On the ‘project proposal’ link on the left you’ll be able to fill out a form that gets sent to the SU President to advertise your research and the type of people you’re looking for. This advertisement is placed onto the ‘project participation’ link where you can view advertisements for other people’s projects and choose to get involved by completing surveys and getting in touch with people to cooperate in their research as a participant.

Requirement:

In order to use this service your ethics form must state that you can use our website or similar services to advertise for participants.

We must also recieve proof that your ethics have been completed and confirmed and that it includes this service as a viable method of participant recruiting.
