We have got some really exciting events coming up to celebrate End of Year; with more information below about each event!
Open Mic Night and Acoustic Session
Tuesday 14th May 2024 7pm - 10pm
We are holding a 2 part event, which will commence with a Open Mic Night. This will commence at 7pm, with staff and students having the chance to perform for 15 minute sessions. We are looking for talented singer/songwriters to perform at the Open Mic Night section of this evening; if you are interested in this, please click here to fill out a short form expressing your interests. This will then be followed by a 45min set from Andy Webster (who you might remember from our Acoustic and Chill event during Freshers). Entry to this event will be free and this will be taking place in Senses Lounge.
End of Year Quad Party
Friday 24th May 2024 2:30pm - 8:00pm
This event marks the first part of our End of Year celebrations! Our Garden Party during Freshers was rained off, so we thought we would bring this back! The event will start at 2:30pm with access to a BBQ and Bar, an inflatable bouncy castle, and a DJ set from 4pm. We are really excited to do something different and make use of some amazing space within the University. This is open to all staff and students and will run until 8pm. Again, this is free entry and an amazing way to end this academic year on a high surrounded by friends and colleagues.
Birmingham Bar Crawl
Wednesday 29th May 2024 7:30pm - Late
You asked for it, so we have delivered! The Birmingham Bar Crawl is back, in partnership with Naughty Horse. This event will start at 7:30 in Senses Lounge! There will not be any transport put on by us for this event, so you will have to make your own way to Broad Street, and meeting at Reflex for 9pm. We will then move on to Coyote Ugly from 10pm to 11pm and then finally onto the fan favourite Heidis (making sure you are there before 11:30pm!) Tickets for this will be on sale from midday on Wednesday 1st May and will be £5 until the 24th May and then £7 after this until the night of the event!
