We are delighted to let you know about some incredible successes your Union has had in recent awards. Firstly in May, the Union Team attended the WhatUni Student Choice Awards, along with colleagues from the University. We are really proud to announce that we voted the Number 1 Students' Union in the West Midlands.
To top this off, last week the National Student Survey results were released. This survey is conducted by final year students, to reflect on their time at Birmingham Newman. It is recognised as the main benchmark for student satisfaction across the country. Students' Unions are also rated in this survey against satisfaction with academic representation, which is the core of what we do.
We have always done well in this survey, being the top SU in Birmingham for the past 6 years. This year we have broken all Newman Students' Unio Records nd in the NSS 2025, your Union has been rated:
#1 in the Midlands (the whole Midlands, not just West!)
#1 in the Cathedrals Group
#3 in the UK
These awards mean so much to us because they are voted for by students, so thank you to everyone who voted.
