Student-Staff Partnership Projects Are Here!
Want to make real change on campus and get paid for it?
Newman Students’ Union and Student Success have teamed up to launch Student-Staff Partnership Projects (SSPPs) this September.
What’s it all about?
SSPPs connect our student community with staff across both academic and professional areas. Together, you’ll co-create projects which matter to you. From inclusive teaching and digital innovation, to enhancing student support and launching new initiatives. What do you think would make a difference?
Why get involved?
- Gain paid, real-world project and/or research experience.
- Collaborate with staff and peers to build community and connections.
- Shape University policy and practice with your ideas.
- Make an impact that lasts beyond your degree.
Key dates
- Applications open: September
- Deadline for application submissions: October
- Update on accepted project applications announced at the Learning and Teaching Conference, 29th October.
Your project could become part of the Birmingham Newman University’s day-to-day activity, making a truly collaborative, lasting difference for students. Projects will be supported through flexible funding and ongoing practical opportunities.
Keep an eye out for application details coming soon, or contact the Students’ Union Vice President, Cloudy Sharp, for more info.
