Dear {firstname},

Welcome to Birmingham Newman - Your Students' Union is ready for you!

Whether you’re joining Birmingham Newman for the first time or coming back for another year, Newman Students’ Union is here to help you make the most of university life.

We’re your independent student voice on campus – representing your views, supporting you when things get difficult and creating opportunities to meet people, try something new and find your place in the Newman community.

From our network of Academic Reps and independent Advice Centre, to a growing range of student-led societies, activities and wellbeing initiatives, there are loads of ways to get involved. And with Newman Students’ Union ranked #1 in the Midlands in the NSS 2026, you can be confident that your voice really does matter here.
