On behalf of your Students’ Union, I’m so excited to kick off one of our favourite times of the year  a week packed with activities we’ve tried, tested and loved over the years designed to bring our whole student community together before the serious stuff begins.

We start on Sunday 14th September with a Moving-In Meal for those settling into campus followed by our legendary Moving-In Party open to everyone featuring the incredible Pink Limes, a high-energy band guaranteed to get you dancing.

Monday brings a chilled Movie Night with the Movie Society; the perfect way to relax and save energy for the week ahead.

On Tuesday we will be hosting our annual Welcome Fair, in the Atrium. This is your chance to find out more about our Clubs & Societies and bag yourself some free stuff. In the evening, your VP Cloudy and I host Blue Bingo; expect laughs and fun prizes.

Why not try some orgiami at the first Make Space of the year between 12-2pm in the Students' Union. Later on is the Newman Night Out, your chance to explore some highlights from Birmingham’s nightlife.

Thursday starts with a creative Sip & Paint in the new Ryland Quad then Wear Your Flag in allyship with Birmingham Newman’s LGBTQ+ community.

We finish in style on Friday with The Block Party, a DJ, late-night vibes, and big games in the Quad.
