I hope you’re doing well and feeling energised after what has been a really exciting Elections period! It’s great to finally share something uplifting and celebratory with you our Newman Students’ Union Annual Awards and Summer Party!

Since September, the Summer Party Committee and I have been working hard to put together a fantastic end‑of‑year event. This year, we’re hoping to celebrate at the Bartley Green Sailing Club following the Annual Students' Union Awards in May and we want you to be part of it.

Whether you’ve been nominated for an award, won an award, or simply want to celebrate the hard work, resilience, and achievements you’ve poured into this year, this will be a brilliant opportunity for our community to come together.

What’s the plan?
We’re looking to host the celebration at Bartley Green Sailing Club, with a red carpet entrance, food, music, a dance floor, and stunning views overlooking the reservoir. On a warm May evening, it’s going to be absolutely idyllic.

What we need from you
To make this event happen, we need at least 100 students to express their interest.

We are looking at a ticket price of around £25.
