  • Does your Students’ Union speak for you?

  • Got ideas that could change the University?

  • Ready to represent your community?

Why not stand for a Part-Time Officer Position and make the changes you want to see, to your Union, Your University and Your Student Experience? Nominations are now open online by clicking here.

Part-Time Officers make up the heart of Student Council, working alongside Faculty Reps and the Officer Trustees (President and Vice-President). Each Part-Time Officer also sits on one of two Student Council sub-committees, helping turn student ideas into real action.

Every role represents a specific group of students, ensuring the widest possible student voice influences decisions across the Union, the University, and the wider community.

All Part-Time Officers share a set of core responsibilities, but the roles are also yours to shape. This is your chance to respond to the needs of students and pursue the issues you care about most.

If you’re passionate about improving student life, bring your creativity, your ideas, and your voice. Work with like-minded students to create positive change at Birmingham Newman University.
