You’ve just arrived. We want to know where you want to go.
2030 might feel a long way off. But the experiences you have, the people you meet and the things you change while you’re at Newman will help shape what this university community becomes.
We’re starting to build what your Students’ Union will become by 2030 — and we’re starting with you.
Before we tell you what we think matters, we want to hear what you hope for.
Three questions. No right answers. Tell us what you want your Newman experience to become.
Click here to tell us where you want to be in 2030.
01. Imagine it’s your last day at Newman.
What would need to have happened for you to think, “I’m really glad I came here”?
02. Your degree is only part of your time at Newman.
What else do you hope to get from being here?
03. Think about Birmimgham Newman as a whole:
What do you hope will be different or better here by the time you leave?
This is just the start.
What you tell us now will be the first step in building 2030. Over the coming months, we’ll be talking to students across Newman, running a larger survey, holding conversations and focus groups, and exploring what matters most to our community. We’ll share what we’re hearing as we go, give you opportunities to challenge our thinking and help decide the priorities that matter most. Everything we learn will help shape Newman Students’ Union’s next strategy — and the Union we want to build together by 2030.
