As a student-led organisation, we make sure that "your voice is the loudest". Click on any of the images below to find out how you can get involved and have your say at Newman Students' Union.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is where all students at Newman are invited to a big meeting where we present our accounts (how we spend your money) as well as the annual report of how we've been working for you! All lectures are postponed for this meeting.
We hope that you should never have to complain about NSU, its Officers or Staff, however, if you feel you ever need to please get in touch. Please always try to resolve any issues informally in the first instance before going through procedures.
Every year we hold an election for the executive committee. As a democratic organisation, it is important for the union to represent its students and be led by their voices.
Raise and Give is where all of our fundraising and campaigning ties together. Here you can find applications to become one of our charities of the year, as well as the progress we've made to reach fundraising goals.
You're Great is a campaign initiative that gives you an opportunity for students to say "thank you" to a member of University staff who have been helpful. This can be for even the smallest thing that makes your day, week, month or year!
Student Forum is where you find out what the Executive Committee are up to, and how they are working in the interest of students. You can also bring your own ideas for change here which students will vote on. Any student can attend, or can sign up to be a voting member.
The Student Voice Report is an annual report that the union publishes every year. Click above to find our most up to date report!
