CHRISTIAN UNION!WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DONewman University Christian Union (NUCU/CU) exists to give everyone at Newman the opportunity to explore and discover Christianity. We are inclusive of all those who identify with the Christian lifestyle and are open to those who are new to their faith, are questioning the existence of God and those who have followed Jesus for years.
We want to provide a safe and inclusive space for people of all faiths, or of no faith, to come and reflect, explore and learn about Jesus! We also like to dedicate time for prayer, praise and worship for as we are students it can be hard to find the time in our busy lives to sit with God. The main message of our society is simple: share our faith and allow the spirit to work through us in acts of kindness and love towards others! “Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other just as God also in Christ forgave you” Ephesians 5:26.
