MY PROMISES/PLEDGES TO STUDENTS
All elected Officers create a number of Promises that they make to students. Their reports to Student Forum are based on these promises.
PROMISE 1: BE A LISTENING EAR
My aim is to truly listen to students and understand what they need to enhance their time at Newman university, ensuring it is inclusive, supportive and enabling.
PROMISE 2: PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR YOUR VOICE
I want to offer each individual student a way for them to influence and shape their unique journey by providing you with a platform to use your voice to express any concerns and ideas as the student's voice is the most powerful. Additionally, I promise to make the course rep system the best it could possibly be for you.
PROMISE 3: CREATE A SUPPORTIVE AND APPROACHABLE ATMOSPHERE
Most importantly, I promise to create an atmosphere where you feel that your needs are being heard, understood and supported by being reachable and approachable.
