Newman SU is bringing you the highlight of the academic year... TOUR TOUR TOUR!
What is tour?
It is a Sports Tour, that has legendary status across the UK for being the ultimate experience for students. Run by a company called ILoveTour you will travel to a European destination, and take part in sport tournaments with your team, meeting hundreds of people from Universities all over the UK. You will also have access to beach parties and the incredible nightlife on offer.
What if I don't play sport at University?
Don't worry, you can sign up as a tourist and just go for the fun of it. ILoveTour also organise friendly beach games such as volleyball and frisbee for you to get involved in!
So, where are we going?
Newman SU have been working with ILoveTour to go to Rimini in Italy. Here, you will stay in a hotel just minutes from the beach and the nightlife!
When are we going?
Saturday 13th April - Friday 19th April 2019
This is also in half-term to cater for our PGCE students!
How much does it cost?
Tour costs £305.95 per person. This includes:
- Return Coach from Newman to Dover and through France into Italy
- Ferry across the English Channel
- Four nights accommodation
- Half board (breakfast, evening meal and a free drink)
- Sports tournaments and winners trophies
- FREE entry to the amazing nightlife Rimini has to offer
- Personalised insurance
Isn't it a bit far for a coach?
If you ask anyone who's previously been on TOUR, they will tell you that the journey is 100% worth it! Imagine those exciting long away days with your team mates, but on a much bigger scale! Bring your packed lunch and your banter for the journey, and believe us when we say you'll sleep on the way home!
Can I fly instead?
Newman Students' Union have not given the option to fly to Rimini due to the administration and risks. You will also have to provide your own flights, which would become much more expensive.
What are the payment deadlines?
The first payment deadline is: Friday 23rd November
The final payment is due: Friday 25th January
Are there any other costs?
Yes, all passengers from all Universities must pay a damage deposit of £40.00 which will be added on to your booking.
Providing we all behave ourselves this will be credited back into your bank account when you return to the UK.
