Acting Society is a group for people who enjoy straight acting. No singing, dance or fancy sets, just acting!
Whether you’ve never acted before and want to give it a go or are a really experienced performer, come along and just act!

Attitude is a dance society; we create, develop and perform various dances. We do lots of different styles, from Broadway to hip-hop, and love to try new things.

LGBT is NSU’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans society. We offer support, advice and guidance on all matters LGBT. Anyone can join, no matter what your orientation or preferences, so join us sometime to get information or meet like minded people.

MaDSoc is Newman’s Music and Drama Society. We put on performances that involve all areas of the theatre. There are cast roles, as well as opportunities with the crew including backstage, directing, choreography, costumes, lights and sound. Whatever you’re interested in, MaDSoc has something for you!
