Societies

Societies

Societies are groups of like minded students who get together with a common aim.  These aims may vary from group to group, but will have one thing in common.  This is improving the members education.  It could be gaining new experiences, meeting like minded people to allow for discussion, improving  life skills, from social skills to more technical things such as lighting design, performance or cooking.  Other aims could include exploring religion, debating, sharing skills and knowledge from cooking and recipe ideas to watching a film with like minded people.

Societies are a great way to meet new people, get involved and boost your skills!

For more information about the societies NSU has to offer please visit the Current Societies page.

The Societies Handbook is now available; please click here to view it.

If you have any queries regarding the handbook or any Society/Association matters, please contact Martha Guy (Societies Officer) on GUYX201@newman.ac.uk
