Newman Volunteering Award
At Newman University we like to celebrate and recognise the valuable contribution that our students make in their communities by accrediting their service to others through their volunteering activities. So if you are volunteering and it’s not accredited elsewhere on your degree, check the criteria and submit the completed forms to be found using the link below.
|
If accepted you will receive a Newman Bronze Volunteering Award for 20 hours, Newman Silver Volunteering Award for 50 hours, Newman Gold Volunteering Award for 100 hours or a Newman Platinum Volunteering Award for 200 hours. You receive a Certificate for each Award and they are validated to appear on your HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) when you graduate.
For information and guidance please refer to the Volunteering Handbook on the Newman Careers webpage which outlines the volunteering policy and forms needed to apply for accreditation. |
