► Outreach and RAK
Outreach and Random Acts of Kindness (RAK)
As an active society we try to make ourselves known on campus. We do this through outreach events and Random Acts of Kindness. We aim to complete one outreach even per term that is supported by a RAK.
Over the past year we have successfully ran a Christmas RAK and Easter RAK this involved us as members of Newman CU giving out FREE mince pies, hot cross buns, hot chocolate and chocolate coins and chocolate eggs. We had a great time and received lots of positive praise but the most important thing was that we saw the benefit on our fellow students, you guys! So we would like to take this opportunity in thanking all that attended and received our FREE gifts.
