Newman Students' Union (NSU) is a charitable organisation run by students for the benefit of students.
Our mission is to improve the education of students at Newman. This isn't restricted to just you academic course but to all aspects of education, from personal well being to C.V. enhancing skills.
NSU is also the main representative body between students and Newman University College. NSU runs the course representative system (known at Newman as the Staff Student Consultative Committee) and supports the reps, with training and advice. The point of this is to ensure that students' needs and opinions are raised with the university to ensure that courses develop with the students best interests taken into account.
